# How can I Create / Add task on Beyond Compliance?

## The Task Configuration allows you to create, assign, and manage tasks directly from Requirements → Compliance Rule → Tasks. This ensures compliance activities are tracked and completed on time.

### Accessing Task Configuration

1. Navigate to **Requirements** from the left-hand menu.
2. Select a **Compliance Rule** (e.g., NG\_DAS\_VASP\_292).
3. Open the **Tasks** tab.
4. Click **Add Task** to begin configuring a task.

### Creating a One-Time Task

#### 1. Fill in Task Details

- **Task Title** *(Required)* – A clear, descriptive name for the task.
- **Task Priority** *(Required)* – Select priority (High, Medium, Low).
- **Description** *(Optional)* – Provide additional context or instructions.

#### 2. Assign Task

- **Assign To** *(Required)* – Select a team member or choose "Assign to me."
- **Due Date** *(Required)* – Set a deadline for task completion.

#### 3. Notify Assignee

- **Reminder Date** *(Required)* – Enter how many days before the due date the assignee should be notified.

#### 4. Attach Supporting Material (Optional)

- Click **+ Attach Template** to upload files (.pdf, .docx, .pptx, .csv, .zip, .xlsx, .json).

#### 5. Save Task

- Click **Add Task** to finalize.
- The task will now appear under the **Tasks tab** in the selected Compliance Rule.

### Creating a Recurring Task

Recurring tasks are ideal for repeated compliance activities (e.g., weekly reviews, monthly reports).

#### 1. Enable Recurring

- Check the **Recurring** box.

#### 2. Configure Recurrence Settings

- **Cadence** *(Required)* – Choose frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.).
- **Start Date** *(Required)* – When the recurrence begins.
- **Day of the Week Task Recurs** *(Required for weekly cadence)* – Select the day(s) (e.g., Monday).

#### 3. Task Deadlines & Notifications

- **Task is due** *(Required)* – Define how many days after the recurrence the task should be completed.
- **Notify Assignee** *(Required)* – Define how many days before the recurrence the assignee should be notified.

#### 4. Assign & Save

- Assign the task to a user.
- Add description and attach files (optional).
- Click **Add Task**.
